As a young boy, Abraham Lincoln witnesses the murder of his mother by the mysterious vampire Jack Barts. Ten years later, Abe sets out to avenge her death, but is rescued by Henry Sturgess who teaches him the skills he needs to hunt and kill vampires. Using his new-found knowledge, Abe moves to Springfield and takes a job as a store clerk while studying law at night and secretly hunting vampires. Here he also meets and falls in love with Mary Todd. Years later, upon becoming President of the United States, Abe discovers the horrifying truth that vampires have joined the Confederate forces. He launches his own campaign to defeat them and put an end to their tyranny.
