Hansel and Gretel, two siblings left alone in the woods by their father, are captured by a sinister witch who lives in a candy house. In a daring move, they manage to kill the witch and escape. Years later, the siblings have become renowned witch hunters. When eleven children go missing in a small village, they are called upon to rescue them. During their mission, they save Mina, a red-haired girl accused of witchcraft, from the local sheriff who wants to burn her at the stake. As they investigate further, they learn that a powerful dark witch called Muriel is behind the abductions, and that she plans to use the children and a secret ingredient in a ritual during the Blood Moon in three days' time, which will protect her coven of witches from fire. Along the way, they also uncover secrets about their parents.
