Asterix and Obelix: God Save Britannia is a 2012 French comedy film directed by Laurent Tirard. The film is based on the popular comic book series of the same name and follows the two protagonists, Asterix and Obelix, as they travel to ancient Britain to help a small village of indomitable Gauls ward off the Roman Empire. The duo must use their wits and strength to save the village from the Romans, while at the same time dealing with a traitor in their midst.
