After the death of his father, Britt Reid (Seth Rogen) inherits the publishing of Los Angeles' "The Daily Sentinel". When Britt and his driver and martial arts expert, Kato (Jay Chou), stumble upon a robbery, they decide to take on the criminal underworld as masked superheroes "The Green Hornet" and Kato. Together, they set out to fight crime and protect their city.
